The good folks at The Workbook Project made this happen with a little help from their friends of course. Come join Lance Weiler, Arin Crumley, Susan Buice, Lance Hammer, Faye Dunaway, Paul Rachman, Stephen Rapael, Slava Rubin, Joseph Marin, Jennifer Kushell, and of course myself. This is just the intro segment. Two more to come.
I was mentioning this dinner to my friend Christine Vachon, telling her how I thought it was a good idea it was, a lot of fun, quite informative, and how well it was shot. Christine's response was "Did anyone get a word in edge-wise?". In this episode I don't start to rant until the 27:27 mark, so you be the judge.

What is really amazing that everything I am hearing is exactly what I want to do and where I want to "go." I made Redneck Zombies back in the '80's and it is with Troma. It was one of first (perhaps the first) SOV, DIY, homebrews to sucessfully be distributed worldwide.
My new feature LOOP was a surprise to me. I never thought I would make another movie after RNZ and LOOP just sort of forced itself on me. Over three years I made it with my wife using pocket change. What I am happiest about is LOOP is the movie I wanted to make.
I am definitely in the mix with what I have been reading here. There are just some aspects that remain unclear, but I think if I keep reading and clicking I will figure it out.
I just feel so old though... : )
I really love this movement and the fact that your awareness of Net Nuetrality is a key factor for success with independent filmmakers.
I am going to put my back in this. I am just trying to figure out the very first step. I am subscribed and anxious to see the next two segments. Thank you guys and thank you Ted for leading me here.
